The Bible in a Year: Family Edition is the new daily video podcast with Fr. Josh Johnson from the team behind The Bible in a Year (with Fr. Mike Schmitz), launching January 1, 2027. Using The Great Adventure Bible Timeline® from Jeff Cavins, the new Family Edition podcast helps children and their families see how every part of Scripture fits into one story of salvation.

The Monthly Magazine is filled with activities to help bring that story to life, whether at the kitchen table or in a religious education classroom. There are 12 issues, covering the 12 time periods of The Bible Timeline, so kids can see the big picture of salvation history and their own place in it. It helps make the Bible something they grow into, not something they outgrow.

Each full-color issue of approximately 40 pages includes:

• At least one activity for every day of the podcast, rooted in that day’s readings
• Family challenges and discussion questions
• Catechism and saint connections
• Biblical explanations of key events
• Visio divina for praying with sacred art
• An introduction and conclusion for each time period

Designed for kids ages 7–12 (younger children can join in with a parent’s help), it encourages true family catechesis by engaging the whole household, parents included.
