This week in Be My Witnesses, Bishop Earl Boyea of Lansing challenges us to learn how the Holy Eucharist reveals to us not a God of fear, but a God who deeply loves us in Jesus Christ.
Bishop Boyea challenges us to read the Book of Genesis, Chapter 3, which recounts the eating of the forbidden fruit by our first parents, and then to read and contrast it with the Gospel of Saint Luke, Chapter 24, which tells the story of Christ's walk with two downcast disciples upon the road to Emmaus in the wake of Good Friday.
