Beginning on October 28, a 29-day podcast hosted by Sr. Katie Flanagan, FMA, and Sr. Elfie Del Rosario, FMA., will guide Catholics through the work of a beloved Doctor of the Church.
[Exton, PA - September 22, 2026] Ascension, the Catholic media company behind the Apple-chart-topping podcast The Bible in a Year (with Fr. Mike Schmitz)®, has announced a new podcast season for its popular Catholic Classics series. Season 6 of Catholic Classics will launch on October 28, 2026.
Following the format from previous years, daily podcast episodes will feature a complete reading of The Interior Castle text along with helpful Catholic commentary. This season, Catholic Classics is being hosted by a new pair, Sr. Katie Flanagan, FMA, and Sr. Elfie Del Rosario, FMA, members of the Salesian Sisters of John Bosco.

About the Authors
Sr. Katie Flanagan, FMA has been a Salesian Sister of St. John Bosco for 10 years. With 15 years of teaching experience, she finds great joy in accompanying young people on their journey of faith. Sr. Katie has a Masters in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership and currently serves as the Director of Development for the Salesian Sisters in the Eastern United States and Canada.
Sr. Elfie Del Rosario, FMA is a Daughter of Mary Help of Christians also known as Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco. She was born in Nigeria and grew up in the Philippines. Her passion is sharing the love and the mercy of Jesus with the young and inspiring them to become saints, while being joyful and fully being their unique selves well. Both characteristics are drawn from her Salesian Charism, founded by St. John Bosco, under the patronage of St. Francis de Sales. Currently, she is the Vocation and VIDES Directress of the Salesian Sisters in the Eastern United States.
