The Ascension Team

The Ascension Team is the family of editors, designers, producers, and mission-driven staff behind Ascension, the leading Catholic publisher of faith formation resources founded in 1998 by Matthew Pinto and headquartered in West Chester, Pennsylvania. What began as a small Catholic press has grown into a multimedia apostolate serving millions — home of The Great Adventure Bible Timeline, The Great Adventure Catholic Bible, and the Ascension Presents platform, one of the largest Catholic YouTube channels in English.

Together, the team has produced some of the most influential Catholic media of recent years, including The Bible in a Year and The Catechism in a Year podcasts with Fr. Mike Schmitz — both of which debuted at #1 on the podcast charts — along with journals, planners, study guides, and devotional resources credited to the Ascension Team. Their shared mission: to present the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church in ways that are engaging, accessible, and life-changing.
