Lavinia Spirito

Lavinia Theodoli Spirito grew up in Rome Italy. She attended the University of Michigan, the University of Kentucky College of Law, and the Augustine Institute, where she earned Masters in Theology. She founded and currently is Teaching Leader for Catholic Way Bible Study based in Lexington Kentucky and available nationwide on cwbs.org.
Lavinia is adjunct Lecturer for the Saint Meinrad Deacon Formation Program and gives Priest retreats and retreats for all interested in hearing about the power of the Holy Spirit through the study of the Scriptures. She is associated with Renewal Ministries as Mission Teacher. She contributed to the Ave Maria Women's Bible and to the Companion volume for the Bible in a Year. She also leads pilgrimages to the Holy Land, Italy, France and many other interesting places.
She and her husband Michael live in Lexington, Kentucky, have two adult daughters and one grandchild.
