Fr. John Zuhlsdorf — known to readers around the world simply as “Fr. Z” — is an American Catholic priest, columnist, and one of the earliest and most widely read priest-bloggers. A convert from Lutheranism, he was ordained in Rome by Pope St. John Paul II in 1991. Through his long-running blog and years of columns on liturgical translation, he has helped generations of Catholics pay closer attention to the words and worship of the Church.
