Dr. John M. Travaline is a physician, professor, and Catholic medical ethicist who has spent his career at the intersection of faith and medicine. A professor of thoracic medicine and surgery at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine in Philadelphia, he practices as a pulmonologist and writes and lectures widely on St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body as a lens for the practice of healing — including as co-editor of Catholic Witness in Health Care: Practicing Medicine in Truth and Love
