Father John Francis Harvey, OSFS, was an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales, moral theologian, and founding director of Courage, a Catholic apostolate providing spiritual support for men and women who experience same-sex attraction and desire to live chaste lives. Ordained to the priesthood in 1944, Father Harvey taught moral theology, medical ethics, and sexual ethics and dedicated much of his ministry to providing pastoral guidance rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church.
