Jim Burnham
Author
Jim Burnham is an internationally known Catholic apologist, author, and speaker. A cradle Catholic and the second oldest of ten children, he graduated as valedictorian from Hillsdale College in 1989 with a degree in philosophy — an education sharpened by years of friendly debate with his evangelical classmates, which drove him to rediscover the biblical and historical basis of his Catholic faith. He went on to study at Thomas Aquinas College, where he met his wife, Lisa; they have been married since 1992 and have six children.
Co-founder and director of San Juan Catholic Seminars in New Mexico, Jim has given hundreds of seminars teaching Catholics how to charitably and effectively defend their faith, and he is co-author of the hugely popular Beginning Apologetics series with Fr. Frank Chacon. For Ascension, he co-authored The Bible Thumper with Matthew Pinto and Brian Butler — a mini-concordance putting over a thousand key Bible verses for explaining the Catholic faith at your fingertips.
