Beginning Ash Wednesday 2027, the Church in the U.S. will pray the Liturgy of the Hours in a new English translation for the first time in more than half a century.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has approved a new translation of the Scriptures for proclamation at Mass—the Catholic American Bible (CAB). This historic revision of the New American Bible, Revised Edition (NABRE) will serve the Church in study, catechesis, and personal devotion.
