The Bible in one year is helping us to understand the Bible in simplified way by Fr Michael. It answers many questions that I have been asking myself. Reading the Bible together is motivating and interesting. The way he has chosen the books is very inspiring and it keeps the fire burning. Thank you Fr Michael for the good job you are doing. A Remarkable Companion

Living outside the USA without any Ascension distributors in my country initially saddened me because I have no way of getting this book. When I received Ascension's email telling me there's an E-book version of the BIAY Companion, I think I clicked 'buy' in an instant. :D
This is my 2nd year of BIAY, and going through the Bible the second time around with this Companion book made me understand a lot of things better.
For almost three months now I've been praying along and listening to Fr. Mike's reflections with this Companion book, and it's awesome. I particularly love the Dive Deeper sections, as they provide something not addressed in the podcast, or elaborate on the reflections.
My only (minor) complaint is that in the E-Book version, the images are sometimes to small. I use the Kindle version, and for some reason image zoom function is just not available (tried enlarging the font size, but the images remain small).
Anyway, great book, and a remarkable companion to the BIAY podcast!
Really hoping Vol. II and Vol. III will be available as E-Books too :)

Vol 1, is Awesome

This is a Great Resource to have when Fr. Mike reviews the content for the day. I really like to read the notes before the reading, to know what to listen for. Then again afterward, to follow along.
I really enjoy having the Bible in a year Companion available to me all the time and hope Volumes 2 & 3 will be made available too.

This book is awesome!

I used to follow Bobby's notes on Facebook and found them very helpful, until I slacked off the podcast. I am no longer on social media, so I am grateful to have this as a separate download. It greatly enriches my more realistic personal pace of BI3Y. Thanks again, folks!
