There is so much information in this leader’s guide – options for activities, music/video resources from popular media, Bible references and pertinent stories to explain and enhance the Theology of the Body for Teens DVD set. We are using this with a high school youth group. I think the DVD’s are essential to teens opening their hearts and minds to the information, so I recommend you not try to save money by doing the class without them.

This book goes step by step through the Theology of the Body for Teens to help the leader guide meaningful discussions. It is easy to understand and well written. There are suggestions for games to play with the teens to help them in groups. This book is a valuable resource.

This is a fantastic catechetical tool. I just mentioned it to 11th graders I know and they loved the concept! Finally we realize that the key to teaching sexuality to young people is to convey: the mystery of the human person, the dignity of self & other, the beauty of covenant between spouses & God. WOW. Just what we need to turn this promiscuous culture on its ear and give them some real reasons to live the commandments. “Our Father knows best!”

For all you youth ministers out there thinking about using this program… DO IT. Our Wednesday night guys/girls group has been using this curriculum for the last 5 weeks with awesome results. The guys are even opening up in discussion, thanks to the great videos and discussion questions in the leader guide. We are finding that we have to go thru the material faster than we anticipated, because the teens are GETTING IT. Our teens are always averse to “another chastity talk,” but the approach of this program is positive, and it keeps them engaged.

Theology of the Body is the REASON of abstinences, self respect and plan of God for men and women in the world. It is as if you were blind a now you can see. The book really makes explain complicated things, easy. Hope every youth group could do this seminar.
